Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit www.hidraulica.ro (the "Website"), request a quote or contact us. The data controller is SC HIDRAULICA SRL, with its registered office at Str. Avram Iancu, nr. 62, Săcele 505600, Brașov County, Romania, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J08/602/1998, VAT ID (C.U.I.) RO10648523, legally represented by Mr. Feher Dezso as Administrator (hereinafter "the Controller", "the Company", "We" or "Hidraulica"). If you do not agree with it, please do not submit personal data through the Website.

The Operator

SC HIDRAULICA SRL acts as the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018, and is responsible for the processing described below. We process your personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, only for the stated purposes, limited to what is necessary, and with appropriate security measures.

Categories of personal data we process

When you use the Website:

1.1 Technical data collected automatically (log files)

When you visit the Website, our servers automatically record technical data: IP address, approximate location (city level), browser type, operating system, device information, date and time of access, pages visited and referring page. We use this data to keep the Website secure, diagnose technical problems, administer the Website and analyze usage in order to improve it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Website and in defending our rights (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 1.2 Data you provide through the contact form and quote requests

When you contact us through the contact form, or submit a quote request or Bosch Rexroth basket, we process: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (where provided), message subject and content, and the products or services you are interested in. We use this data exclusively to answer your request, prepare quotations and provide information about our products, repairs and solutions. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data from inquiries that do not lead to a contract is retained for no more than 3 years from the last interaction.

Purposes and legal basis of processing

We process personal data for the following purposes: (a) responding to inquiries and preparing quotations; (b) concluding and performing sales, repair and service contracts, including delivery, invoicing and warranty; (c) complying with legal obligations, such as tax, accounting and customs requirements; (d) ensuring the security of the Website and defending legal claims; and (e) analytics and marketing, where you have given consent through the cookie banner. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects on you.

Our legal bases under Art. 6(1) GDPR are: (a) your consent; (b) performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request; (c) compliance with legal obligations to which we are subject; and (f) our legitimate interests, which we balance against your rights and freedoms.

How long we keep your personal data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected: inquiry and quotation data for up to 3 years from the last interaction; contract, invoicing and warranty data for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the periods required by Romanian tax and accounting legislation; consent-based data until you withdraw your consent; and technical logs for the shortest period necessary for security and diagnostics. When the retention period expires, data is deleted or anonymized, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights listed below. To exercise them, send a written request to office@hidraulica.ro or to our registered office in Brașov, Săcele, Str. Avram Iancu, nr. 62. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, and we may ask you to verify your identity.

• The right of access – to obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of that data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• The right to rectification – to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
• The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") – to have your data deleted where the legal conditions are met (Art. 17 GDPR)
• The right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• The right to data portability – to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to have it transmitted to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR)
• The right to object – to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling (Art. 21 GDPR)
• The right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Types of data collected

Identification and contact data (name, email address, phone number, company name); the content of your messages and quote requests; data needed for contracts and invoicing (company details, delivery address, VAT ID) where you become a customer; technical data (IP address, browser and device information, log data); and your cookie preferences.

How we collect personal data

We collect data directly from you (contact form, quote requests, email, phone, contracts) and automatically through the Website (server logs and, with your consent, cookies and similar technologies).

Data security

Access to personal data is restricted to employees authorized by company management, each using individual credentials. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures – including access control, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and spam protection – to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your data. Access is limited to our authorized employees and, where necessary for the stated purposes, to processors and recipients acting on our behalf or by law: IT, hosting, email and website maintenance providers, analytics providers (with your consent), accountants, auditors, lawyers and other professional advisors, couriers and transport providers, and public authorities and institutions (such as tax authorities) where required by law. For quotes on Bosch Rexroth components, relevant request details may be shared with Bosch Rexroth to obtain availability and pricing. Processors are bound by data processing agreements. If any data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.
